This policy explains how Aussie Pool Guide ("we", "us") handles personal information when you use aussiepoolguide.com.au. We aim to handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), where they apply to us.

What we collect

• You don't need an account. We don't run user accounts, comments or online payments.
• Emails you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and to improve the site.
• Server and security logs. Our hosting and content-delivery provider may automatically process technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver and protect the site.
• Analytics. We don't currently use analytics cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics later, we'll update this policy first.

Calculators

The pool calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter aren't sent to us or stored.

Affiliate links and cookies

When you click an affiliate link and visit a retailer or brand, that third party (or its affiliate network) may set cookies to record that you came from our site. Their own privacy policies apply. We don't receive your name or payment details from them.

Disclosure

We don't sell your personal information. We only share it where needed to run the site (for example, with our hosting provider) or where the law requires it.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing hello@aussiepoolguide.com.au. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
